Guidance for steroid injection therapy & COVID-19 vaccine administration

Following the COVID-19 vaccine rollout North Coast Radiology Group has updated its policy regarding steroid injection therapy in line with best available evidence. There is currently no direct evidence to suggest that a corticosteroid injection before or after the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine decreases the efficacy of the vaccine. Our Kids raises money for Lismore Base Hospital's Childrens Ward, Special Care Nursery, Women's Care Unit and the Accident and Emergency Department and the surrounding satellite hospitals.
