InteleConnect (the weblink) and InteleViewer (the desktop application) provide access to NCR's Picture and Archiving Communications System (PACS), which is highly regarded by our Radiologists and many of our referring practitioners.

Important Message for Referrers
North Coast Radiology and Clarence Valley Imaging are upgrading their PACS Environment.
What is changing?
North Coast Radiology Group (NCRG), part of the Qscan Group, is moving to a new combined InteleViewer PACS environment. This means referrers will be able to view images and reports for both NCRG and Qscan Radiology Clinics in one place using a single login.
The new PACS will be rolled out in stages across NCRG clinics. From each clinic’s go-live date, all new reports and images will be available in the new PACS.
Go-live dates:
- 19 May: Clarence Valley Imaging, Grafton
- 26 May: North Coast Radiology, Ballina & Byron Bay
- 2 June: North Coast Radiology, Lismore (St Vincent’s Hospital), Goonellabah & Casino
All new images and reports from each clinic’s go-live date will be available in the new PACS:
https://pacs.ncrg.com.au.
Historic examinations from 1 April 2023 onwards will be available in the new PACS.
Earlier studies (before 1 April 2023) will remain in the old PACS and will be migrated over time.
Existing NCRG PACS Users
If you already have an NCRG PACS account, your access has been automatically migrated.
- Your account has been transferred to the new PACS
- Your username and password remain the same
- You will need to bookmark the new PACS link to access images from each go-live date:
https://pacs.ncrg.com.au
Existing Qscan Radiology Clinic PACS Users
If you already have a Qscan PACS account, no changes are required.
- Your existing account remains unchanged
- You will now see NCRG studies alongside your Qscan studies
- No action is required
Historic Images
Studies from 1 April 2023 onwards are available in the new PACS. Studies before 1 April 2023 can still be accessed via the old PACS: iv.ncrad.com/Portal/app#/
Earlier studies will be migrated to the new PACS over time
1. Open InteleViewer
2. Click on ‘Edit Bookmarks’
3. Click ‘Add’
4. Enter server address – PACS https://iv.ncrad.com (new PACS from 19 May-2June) https://pacs.ncrg.com.au)
5. Check ‘Use Custom Server Name’
6. Enter ‘North Coast Radiology Group’ as the name

You can access examinations in the new pacs from the go-live dates. https://pacs.ncrg.com.au/
Historical examinations from 1 April 2023, will be fully migrated to the new PACS. Examinations prior to 1 April 2023 can be accessed via the old PACS. Over time, they will be migrated across to the new PACS.
To access histic images prior to 1 April 2023 visit https://iv.ncrad.com/Portal/app#/
For security reasons, you're required to reset your password every 12 months.
You can resolve this issue by using the password reset function by clicking 'Forgot Password on the interviewer login page.
If you did not receive the password reset email, you may not have an email registered, or it was entered incorrectly.

All new images and reports from each clinic’s go-live date will be available in the new PACS:

- Instant ongoing access to images and reports via weblink or desktop software
- Fast and high-quality images
- The “Break Glass” feature allows you to access examinations that you have not personally referred. Look for the tab labelled “Break Glass”.
- Referrers must "Opt-in" to receive email notifications to be sent upon report verification
InteleConnect is the weblink, and InteleViewer is a downloadable desktop application. Both allow you to access images and reports with enhanced user capabilities. They can be used from any desktop or laptop device.
